I am in late 30s and still sometimes feel not-confident/ shy/ not taking initiative. How to improve it? I read lots of books and STILL cannot get rid of low self-esteem ( probably childhood problem...)

I think (almost) everybody feels like that sometimes, or even a lot of the time. With practice you can learn to overcome that feeling and take the initiative anyway. Easier said than done, I know.

Did any of the books particularly resonate? Or help when you read them? If so - perhaps revisit that one and try and put one bit of advice into practice.

Feel the fear and do it anyway is a classic for good reason. The title sums it up!
