Residential trip hoodie

I'm going on a residential school trip and we're all getting souvenir hoodies. The kids (year 9 and 10) are all getting various nicknames put on theirs but I'm not sure what, if anything, to put on mine. I could go with the full "Miss Didi", or "Miss D" or I have various nicknames in my personal life that I don't mind the kids knowing about like "Jam" or "Koala".

What would you go with? Or should I just not have my name on mine?

And what do people wear for sleeping in when on a residential? I don't wear any sleepwear at home, so I'm going to have to buy something but don't know what. And do you wear a bra to sleep in? I would never ever want to be seen by anyone other than dp and dds without a bra, but I don't think they'd be comfortable to sleep in.

are you likely to get up in the night? i never have just get some pjs

Right, can't help on the what to put on your hoodie, but re nightwear, Primark is your friend.

Get a pair of loose check jimjam bottoms, a long sleeved soft top, a pair of fluffy slippers and one of their splendid huge fleece dressing gowns. Should be well under £25 for the lot.

Actually sleep in a pair of knickers and a vest of course... unless you're sharing with someone who doesn't need to see the unexpurgated you?

Oh and no I do not wear a bra to sleep in! (36C)

I'd go with no name or Miss Didi to be on the safe side.

Sleep in loose cotton pjs and keep hoodie by bed, put on before answering the door in the night, it's not a bra, but does help disguise your shape!

Not sure about the hoodie, maybe ask the other staff what they are doing?

As for sleeping, I'd go with pyjamas, Primark have loads of choice & not too expensive if you're not going to use them again. You could get a bra top for a bit of support, sleeping comfortably in an underwire bra is very difficult

Sports bra. Worn slightly looser than you would for actual sport, but enough to keep 'em from flapping about uncontrollably in the event of some vomit/homesickness induced night time disturbances.

I'll probably go with no name on the hoodie. I would like to be able to wear it at other times and I'd look a bit of a numpty with my full formal name on if I'm wearing it to the gym or something.

The bra thing is mostly for if there is some sort of emergency in the night. I'm rather large chested (36H) and they need to be controlled if I need to deal with and ill teenager. I'll find some cheap pjs then, I like the idea of knickers and a vest but then I'd worry about a nighttime emergency as well.

Surname, no 'Miss' on the hoodie; old fashioned pyjamas (man-style, £7 from Primark) for sleeping (modest enough for night raids, loose enough for bra-free sleeping, thick enough for opacity) although maybe with 36H you might want a secret support vest too.

Wear a tight fitting thicker cotton vest under your pj top. Keeps them flattened and avoids the nipple issue.

M&S sells vests w/ secret support in so you won't swing in the breeze but won't have anything digging in whilst sleeping too.

personally if i need to cover up but still sleep comfortably I would use a nightie to sleep, plus a matching pair of pajama trousers to slip on underneath if needed.

primark are fine certainly for the dressing gown, but personally I'd go for something from either bhs or marks. fabric is better quality and less likely to turn out see through or akin tight.

Yes and go for a navy or black sleep vest.

I second comfy Primark pyjamas! Also you could definitely avoid sleeping in an uncomfortable bra if you have a thick dressing gown to hand to quickly throw on at the knock on the door. I hate sleeping in a bra!!

Primary do fleecy hoody tops for nightwear, be a bit less to pack. I went to Amsterdam with school trip and made error of taking my silky kimono (tbf it's always in my overnight bag) so making the night time reccy round the hostel was interesting. ( I did have jammies)
