Which union is best for TAs?

I don't know if it's the best by any means, but most ta's that I work with are with Unison.
They are pretty active I my county.

ATL will take TAs (some of the unions require members to be in a teaching job not assisting).

Unison is good for TAs

ATL are more likely to understand issues which might arise in an education context than Unison or GMB.

Unison have a special division for TAs though. Also the educational support staff groups are pretty active. They were the ones that organised the national teaching assistant day last year. Just saying.
