Just wishing to get any teachers views on the use of iPads in class.
Ds about to join Yr9 in September at College. The college are introducing iPad use in classrooms where children all have to purchase their own.
Do any of you have experience of this from working in your schools?
If so how are the iPads used in class? College were a bit vague about this.
What happens if children don't want to use them or families cannot afford them?
What have been the pros and cons in their use?
What about security and child safety? Any instances of theft or deliberate damage by others?
Etc.
