I have read that Harry & Meghan have Royal Lodge in their sight for their next home, what are your thoughts on this?

It's obvious the KC3 is being advised to be extremely cautious in his dealings with his younger son, hence the letter last week, so placing the Sussexes close to the Royal Court is unthinkable. As is renting them a property close to the Wales residence . . .

He refused the property she wanted, because it was unsuitable, but offered alternatives, which she refused.

Just amazed at all the mumsnetters with such incredible access to all the royal family. Hearing and seeing all the intimate details of their lives in person.

I am much more amazed by the information that Harry and Meghan are choosing to release into the public domain themselves. And that they are using their children to forward their complicated narrative.

I’m amazed at that too. However, unlike other mumsnetters, I have no idea what H&M have deliberately released and what, for example, the Daily Mail has made up to keep the pot boiling.

I think it’s best to get news from a direct source like their own PR.

Although DM has been noted as having some direct contacts to Harry via his WhatsApp group so perhaps they are more reliable than we think.

Yes and there are some that refuse to discuss any valid points about the shocking behavior of these two, particularly with respect to their parenting. Two sides of the same coin.

I would think that, with the amount of work needing done to it, Royal Lodge will be let out on a long term lease to a very wealthy family, similar to Fort Belvedere.

Unless Cumberland Lodge is super busy and they need another conference facility (it’s run by an education charity, but has conference facilities) I can’t see that being done to Royal Lodge.

It's more likely they will buy somewhere, they are multimillionaires. The royals and others have many properties where they can stay for now. They can look around at their leisure, probably want to see how well they settle down before committing to purchasing, there's no rush.

Why are people so interested? I mean, I am glad they are here and hope they stay, at least for some of the time, they have two other homes, but the details are their business. They are independent people now,
