The royal family

Harriet Sperling....a true marriage across classes or does the NHS nurse have some aristocracy or wealth in her background?

Just this really....I know plenty of working class nurses but I just wonder if there is something about Harriet's background that makes her middle class (even upper class?)

Her father was a solicitor and it sounds as if the family were at least solidly middle class. Nurses come from all backgrounds!

I’m bored and have just been looking at photos. I don’t think he is particularly royal or upper clasx and why could someone upper class not be an NHS nurse. They all looked great, loved the kids’ dresses.

It really wouldn’t take much effort to google the answer …

I am a nurse and come from a very solid MC background. Father was a war correspondent for the BBC and a newsreader. Nurses come from every background, not that it’s something I have ever thought about before TBH.

She is upper middle class and has links in her family to aristocracy. She seeks to go her own way, last husband was a fitness instructor, don’t know if he had money, her family does and she grew up privalged.

Phew.....thought he marrying into the working class! I wasn't trying to suggest all nurses came from working class backgrounds by the way. Yes, Google did reveal her connections to araitocracy, it's just the BBC were running with the NHS nurse in the headline.

Kate Middleton is. Commoner last time I looked and she married much higher.

Her family is in Debretts. More than just solidly middle class. But by no means full titled / aristocratic.
