I read this in the Times this weekend but their source may have been Daily Mail. It was a Hilary Rose piece (she's hilarious but more of an 'entertainment' correspondent that investigative journo!!!)

As to who would pay - as a Yank myself I can tell you in America, plenty of people with more money than sense would have done it. I reckon she'd have done a million easily, charging £75K a pop (allegedly.)
