Will it be “Andrew Windsor, the former Duke of York..”? It’s a bit of a mouthful

He was mentioned on the news this morning and referred to as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor. With no reference to his former titles

Hopefully nothing

Sadly for him ‘The Artist formerly known as Prince’ is already taken.

I’ve heard him referred to as Mr Mountbatten Windsor so I should think this is how he’ll be referred to going forward but to be honest I’m fed up with hearing about him.

Andrew Mountbatten Windsor. The media announced the change and have been using it ever since. I can think of other names for him however…

Everywhere I’ve seen, he’s simply called Andrew Mountbatten Windsor. I’m thinking of starting to refer to him as AMW for ease.

I think it'll get shortened to Andrew Windsor, Mountbatten-Windsor being a bit of a mouthful (of 🤮).

I think it will be "King Charles' brother, Andrew Mountabatton Windsor" on the news.

Well the media still call princess Catherine, kate Middleton. So they will.probably continue calling him princess Andrew.

Well there is a Guardian article today confirming the the loss of another title (Naval one apparently, who knew he had so many) referring to him as “the former DoY” at the beginning and then it’s Mountbatten Windsor thereafter. It is actually quite weird seeing it written down like that, you almost have to pause and remind yourself who it is they’re writing about!

I know exactly what I’d call him but I don’t suppose they’d print it.
