Last month released but media didn't report on it.

Depends what's in it this year. Is there a 'hook' for an interesting story within the report?

Yes, I considered posting a thread along the lines of 'Prince donates lots to charity - no, not that one'.

I find it extremely interesting what the mainstream media decides to report. There was lots of very good stuff in the Royal Foundation report - £11.9m to charities/organisations working directly for good causes; supporting communities to develop networks and access other sources of funding; linking African governments with flagship airlines in the rehabilitation of trafficked wildlife.

The thing is most of the ‘good news’ stories will already have been reported on at the time of the donation or action - by the relevant charity or on behalf of the foundation with press releases etc.

The only ‘news’ to come out of end of year reports occurs when there’s either been an exceptionally large uptick in revenues, or the reverse. Or there’s a disproportionate amount of revenue going on admin rather than good causes.

If everything is ticking along and going in the right direction it isn’t very interesting as a story.

Its a bit different though, Harry has on more than one occasion donated over 1m of his personal money to charity outside of what his charity raises and donates. The royal foundation is a charity set up by W&K funded by multiple people who donate to it.

Fair enough - maybe they really are being reported on and I'm just missing them

Is it really his own money though? I doubt it.

yes - money he has earned or inherited, unlike Prince William he doesnt get a huge amount of money every year from the tax payers.

I suspect it’s a tax dodge. Money he has made has been from settlements, selling his family down the river etc.

He costs the tax payers plenty in legal cases
