Or so the DailyBeast claims, do you agree?

A former courtier, who worked with William at the palace, told The Daily Beast that the photo was likely a deliberate dig at his brother’s wife Meghan: “Nothing happens by accident when it comes to royal photos. It looks very much like he is trolling her.”

Alas

Kensington Palace declined to comment but a palace source told The Daily Beast: “HRH was handed a jar of jam by a fisherwoman who he met at Kalk Bay. I wouldn’t read any more into it than that.”

“Nothing happens by accident” where royal photos are concerned, source says.

It was given to him at a fishing community. The type of jam he was handed is used as a condiment with fish in SA, so it was an appropriate gift for the occasion. I doubt whether the woman who handed it to him (or the committee who OK'd the gesture) has ever heard of ARO.

Daily Beast taking cheap shots at M now?

I am not pro-monarchy but I can’t see W behaving childishly like that tbh.

I agree. He's hardly going to lower himself to the level of Harry and Meghan.
Mind you, that's a very low bar 😂

Someone gave him a gift, he's hardly going to refuse it just because of the SIL's merchandise.

JaneJeffer · 09/11/2024 12:33

Anyone think he'll eat the jam?

The level of obsession that comes from actually believing this is wild

Was the “courtier” a member of staff of prince Andrew.

Sour fig jam is used more like chutney. Goes well with cheese.
