So, when I was in a US supermarket in about 2002, I read an article in National Enquirer at the checkout that claimed Camilla and the Queen had gotten into fisticuffs over Diana, and were rolling around on the floor pulling each other’s hair in the throne room of Buckingham Palace. The idea that most adult women do not get into physical fights in a public area seemed a foreign concept to the author.

I would treat the MM/JD story with the same amount of scepticism.
