After the book release, with net favourability scores of -44 and -46. More 18-24 year olds have negative opinions of them than positive ones.
Camilla’s score also dropped. Princess Anne is now the most popular major royal in the UK.

Not unexpected!

watchfulwishes · 12/01/2023 19:18

Well, yes, they get an awful press in the UK.

sydneysunset · 12/01/2023 19:20

They're getting terrible press here in Australia too.

Adviceneeded200 · 12/01/2023 19:21

At least the public have got a handle on it and have PA at the bottom, comfortably.

oohokay · 13/01/2023 16:04

This is just UK right? I'd be interested in US

HisRoyalWhineness · 13/01/2023 17:00

Fiona Bruce had a silent audience when asking Question Time for someone to speak in favour of Harry 😄 His popularity is rather on the wane in the UK...

Florissant · 13/01/2023 17:01

Keep digging, Sussexes!

BethDuttonsTwin · 13/01/2023 17:04

I’d be interested to know the ratings of all the commonwealth members. Don’t care what the US think.

oohokay · 13/01/2023 17:10

@BethDuttonsTwin I'm interested in what the US think because his book is geared towards them. He doesn't care about alienating UK readers as long as his US popularity and career prospects grow.

I think the Commonwealth sentiment would really only impact the RF and not Harry and Meghan's bottom line.

oohokay · 13/01/2023 17:18

Just to add on I keep seeing articles/posts that his book has backfired, but that's missing the point. Of course it's backfired in the UK. But that might only mean it's succeeded massively in the US. So I'm curious.

Cherry60 · 13/01/2023 17:25

I don't think you can say 'of course' it's backfired in the UK - I'm sure he wasn't expecting that. I would expect quite a chunk of negativity in the US too.

PreparationPreparationPrep · 13/01/2023 17:30

But M&H are not in the UK let alone working royals. As mentioned before why don't they remove them from the list and rate the ones the UK tax payers are funding. I don't think M&H give a fig where they are on a UK.gov poll. or is it because it then highlights how Camila is only one up from Andrew?

LlynTegid · 13/01/2023 17:32

Princess Anne has seemed to be the most popular and certainly most respected of the Royal Family for many years. Apart from the late Queen when alive.

Beautiful3 · 13/01/2023 17:32

This is.not unexpected at all. I'm very interested to see what the poll is like, in America.

Such a shame we're lumbered with Charles, Queen Anne would be a far better bet.
