I think it's the best choice as well, although I feel a bit sorry for Edward and Anne. I realize women did not in the past participate in the individual swearing, but it's a different world now, so I was hoping she would play a bigger part.

I wonder what they are going to do about the peers paying homage; that has always been a traditional part of the coronation. But if they are cutting it down from 3 hours to 1, some things have to be cut.
