It’s 2043 and Archie releases his own book, what does it say?

The kids have grown up and want to have their say. Precedent has been set, with books and the docu series by the parents. It’s the family business :

  • anger with parents for taking him away from family. Feel a loss of identity/ isolation.
  • dad struggled with family life but was loving
  • Mum is a powerhouse and hard to live up to, walk in their shadow( maybe more a lilibet angle)
  • untrusting of others after seeing how their parents have been used
  • Anger with being put in the celebrity world when they could have sought a quiet private life
  • kids would ridicule about dads penis and make seal noises in the playground
  • uncomfortable with having a dead relative have such a big influence on their life. With communications and signs from Diana being frequent in the home but communications from alive family members not so much
  • grateful for Doria to be a stable figure in their life
  • can’t understand why Charles never made more of an effort

anything else?

Really?
Poor children, do they have to be dragged into all this media madness to.
They deserve a free pass.

Rowthe · 12/01/2023 17:36

Yah

Prob not in good taste

WestOfWestminster · 12/01/2023 17:36

Make it stop 😵

Marmite27 · 12/01/2023 17:40

They probably won’t be very old when KC karks it, so he’ll be off the hook for not making the ‘effort’.

bakalava · 12/01/2023 17:41

x2boys · 12/01/2023 18:26

@Fifiesta a free pass like the Sussex pair gave poor Charlotte, no need for them to have dragged Charlotte into the mess

Of its you again ,this isn't about Charlotte and her sodding bridesmaids dress
This thread is just nasty for the sake of it.

@Kateforqueen
I’ll type this slowly for you benefit.
Leave All children out of adult problems. Whoever they are.
Why is this site called Mumsnet if we are not interested in protecting the wellbeing of children.

oakleaffy · 12/01/2023 18:52

It’s s generational shitshow and these kids have very self obsessed parents who are estranged from family.
Probably will repeat the pattern.

Well the Sussex pair dragged poor Charlotte into this. Absolutely no need for the child to be mentioned in Spare. Ludicrous.

PeekAtYou · 12/01/2023 19:06

I know the book mentions the Wales kids but leave the Sussex kids out of this. Let's hope that they are happy and loving life.
