It was a one off performance. That was always the case. He would have said no to anybody who asked him

Didnt Elton John say it would have been macabre. I havent opened the link but read it elsewhere. To be honest I agree with that. If that isnt the case and he said no such thing, he still has the right to say no if he didnt want to. So what?
