Hang on, was Prince Andrew’s €12m for only one year?

I read rumours on Twitter last night that the €12m was a payoff for one year only so I googled it this morning. I found something in the Daily Fail (will post a screenshot in the next post so that you can choose to go to the website or not).

I am happy to be corrected but can Virginia now talk about PA or just about Epstein (so Andrew is still protected)? So many questions.

Here’s the headline.

I heard this too & assumed it meant she's free to speak?

I saw this on TV yesterday but I thought it was at least 10 years otherwise what was the point?

I think the details of the settlement, like how much money was paid and what NDAs were signed, are not public knowledge and it’s all rumor and speculation. The only thing that’s been publicly said is that no public money was used for his legal fees or settlement.

That headline makes it sound like they've just said ah go on talk about it anyway?

Dunno it's very confusing.

I hope he's banned from the coronation.

They did not say no public money had been used. They said the Queen paid the alleged £12 million but refused to say the source.

The Treasury issued a statement saying that no public money had been used.

Was the money paid just so she'd drop the court case?
