The real story behind the fight

I’ve nc for this as I have friends who are very close to the royal family.

Apparently the real story is that William didn’t just break Harry’s necklace, but also then dealt him a brutal beat down… WITH HARRY’S OWN HANDBAG!

The twisted brutality of it all is sickening. Apparently the corgis were left thirsty for hours after their bowl was broken as well.

Skinnermarink · 06/01/2023 12:35

The corgis have their own bowls where they live. Which wasn’t there. So that’s rubbish 🤣

Snowflake2023 · 06/01/2023 12:36

No. Definitely pearls, as mumsnet posters usually clutch them.

Actually, when he said necklace, I though he meant a neck order (like a medal, but suspended on a ribbon round the neck) which must have had a dodgy clasp to have come apart.

Applecottagetree · 06/01/2023 16:19

It's always the first response that doesn't get the joke on MN

CrapBucket · 06/01/2023 16:22

OMG I heard this from my friends too. The handbag was a gift from the older horse loving lady right?

Roselilly36 · 06/01/2023 16:25

Well that what you get with cheap jewellery I suppose 😂

@purpledalmation is correct. It was one of the pearl necklaces he received from his army buddies.

@Palmfrond Is it true the Stud muffin Harry did not have a stable footing, he must have had a very horse voice after fall like that. I'm sure he was quite shocked at the whipping he got from such a strong willy. 😂

Well he clearly wasn't bashed by Meghan's handbag because his balls are kept in there.

PeekAtYou · 06/01/2023 16:41

I saw something online about the necklace being the one on the cover photo.

A handbag in the eye is a dangerous thing, could have killed him no doubt - goodness so many comparisons to draw between him and Harold the second, no wonder that meme was made.

Oh no I spoke too soon, seems there were no similarities at all 'Harold (the second) had proved himself to be a strong leader with great military and diplomatic ability having spent many years ruling England on Edward's behalf.'
