Friday's newspapers, how to get a copy

A close family member who lives in US wants a copy of each newspaper from yesterday (Friday, 09 September)

She is very fond of the Queen and is very sad about the news

I went to the local big Sainsburys and they said yesterday's newspapers have sll been sent back already

Anyone knows how I can get these please

Thanks

Could she not access them online and print off the pages she wants?

I think most places will have sent their unsold places back by now. I had a night job in a newsagents as a teenager years ago and one of my tasks was gathering up all the unsold ones and making a tally ready for them to be collected.

I have seen a few posts on my local FB group today of people asking for others unwanted copies. It might be worth a try?

I work in a very large supermarket,all newspapers were sold out in my store by around 9.30,we had none to send back.

It's far more expensive than the prices they were in the shops, but you could try this place - although they have put on a message saying that their stocks are running low for Friday's papers (unsurprisingly):

www.historic-newspapers.co.uk/original-newspapers/back-issue-newspapers/

There are one or two other places as well, if you search for 'buy historic newspapers'. Other than that, some enterprising people might put some on eBay - again, it'll obviously be significantly poundsier than the original newsstand prices, though.

Thank you very much for all your helpful responses
Sorry, it has taken me this long to respond

@WeBuiltThisBuffetOnSausageRoll
historic-newspapers.co.uk looks like a great choice, possibly even for gifts
Thank you
