Yeah I have to admit, it’s made me feel quite emotional seeing all the ordinary people.

RhannionKPSS · 09/09/2022 18:12

Yes it is. From babes in arms to elderly people, it’s really heartwarming.
And King Charles address to us was excellent “ Flights of angels “ 😢

Endlesscleaning · 09/09/2022 18:14

Poor Charles looked grief stricken, I can’t imagine having to address the nation the day after my DM died.

Teddyandsuzie · 09/09/2022 18:17

Although odd choice for members of the congregation to wear bright colours?

LoopyGremlin · 09/09/2022 18:21

Agree it is nice to see ordinary people, but I certainly wouldn’t be wearing jeans and a casual shirt as several were!

toomuchlaundry · 09/09/2022 18:21

@Teddyandsuzie wasn't it first come first service basis, so assume they were around and not dressed for the service

SpotOnMyBot · 09/09/2022 18:30

It is nice

Looks v hot in there!

That woman with the toddler is brave

Hugasauras · 09/09/2022 18:31

Loved seeing the tiny babies snuggled in!

Lansonmaid · 09/09/2022 19:00

I don't think it matters what people are wearing so long as they are there....we have had people in fancy dress at our midnight mass services in the past and no one has batted an eyelid. Cat woman taking communion was a sight to behold though....

The Queen liked bright colours
