I don't like my child thread

There's a thread in chat 'I don't like my child' sorry I can't link. I'm rubbish with technology. Twords the end of the thread somebody calls the op a 'c**t' I find that offensive and nasty given the sensitive topic. I have reported it to h.q. but thought you could deal with it quicker.

If you've reported it MNHQ will look at it in the morning. That's not really our remit

So what is the Night Watch remit. I thought it was to deal with posts breaking talk guidelines after hours. Do you not look at personal attacks?

Its predominantly for trolls & spammers. If a thread is getting out of hand we can hide it. In general though things like the OP highlighted is not our remit & will be dealt with by MNHQ staff

Jaffacakesandunicorns posts on that thread have been removed now. I also noticed that their posts on another thread have been removed too. I suspect that they may have been banned.

The thing is spider, that there are too many 'nasty comments' for nightwatch to deal with. Its just pervert trolls and spammers that are the main concerns.

The point of Nightwatch is posted clearly at the top of the screen OP.
Note: This topic is primarily for users to flag spam and glaringly obvious trolls to the Night Watch team. If there's a poster who's really worrying you, please do report it to MNHQ in the usual way.

can't cope with nasty comments ? If you'd seen some of the stuff we've dealt with over the years!

I actually thought the Night Watch area was for people who can't sleep/night workers etc . So somewhere for them to have a chat!
