I have reported it but there is a very graphic child abuse thread in AIBU. Please can you check it.

Some people just don't deserve to be on this earth. The kind of person that would get off on writing that is as bad as the person that does it in my opinion.

Sithee · 20/10/2018 02:04

Thread is now hidden and MNHQ are looking at it

DramaAlpaca · 20/10/2018 02:04

It's been hidden.

Stillme1 · 20/10/2018 02:04

I am not sure about the OP on the other thread. The Mum might be just desperate to speak to someone and anonymously on here would be a place to go.

On the other hand it does seem overly open and with great detail.

If it is genuine the OP needs as much support as she can get but if it is a fake there needs to be something done.
Instead of waiting for MN to deal with it would any poster want to give the info to Police or SS

BruegelTheElder · 20/10/2018 02:05

No way in hell a mother would use those words. Mumsnet should inform the police or something. So so so fucking nasty.

I don't disagree with you about how sick it is, but I'm not sure writing stuff like that is actually a crime, so I'm not sure the police would be able to do much.

Stillme1 · 20/10/2018 02:05

Just noticed that the other thread has been hidden by MN

BruegelTheElder · 20/10/2018 02:06

I am not sure about the OP on the other thread

It was pretty weird because the rest of the post seemed quite legit, but the overt detail was way over the top I can't believe any mother would ever write that on public place. No way.

HelloSnow · 20/10/2018 02:07

Bruegel I took it to mean it would be reported to police because if someone is sick enough to write something graphic like that then what else are they involved in. They need investigating.

OP posts:
DramaAlpaca · 20/10/2018 02:08

I agree, it was too graphic. Horrible.

JellieEllie · 20/10/2018 02:08

I agree. The detail was far too explicit and I only read one line. There were 4 further paragraphs of which I dread to think what else was written 🤮
That cannot be a concerned mother as no mother on this planet would go into such extreme details about her own daughter.

BruegelTheElder · 20/10/2018 02:08

Yeah true. Would be nice if MNHQ could let us know their procedure for stuff like that.

HelloSnow · 20/10/2018 02:09

I can't imagine anyone, let alone a mother, would write something in that level of detail, unless they got some sick, perverse kick out of it.

OP posts:
Fifithefoof · 20/10/2018 02:10

No I meant if they were fucked up enough to write that it may be worth having them on the radar.

The details were very clear which made me wonder but as a mother I'm 100% sure nobody could write in the dispassionate and graphic way they did if that was real.

By far the most upsetting and nasty thing I've seen on mn in 15 odd years. I feel sick.

Fifithefoof · 20/10/2018 02:12

The awful thing was, the detail and the way it was written could maybe imply it was a mother that this had happened to but a really twisted one who seemed to be getting off on it.

Ugh, it didn't seem like your normal troll crap but whatever it was, it was coming from a wrong and bad place.

gilchrist168 · 20/10/2018 02:13

Glad it's down.
No way was that genuine. You don't need to go into detail like that.
If it was real "she" would ring the likes of Sams, NSPCC , Victim Support, etc not post crude and detailed specifics about their child in the early hours of a weekend on an internet open forum.
Didn't add up at all. Survivor here.

Fifithefoof · 20/10/2018 02:18

Right. She had enough nouse to know of or how to get hold of the organisations that would guide her. Even at this hour.

Mumsnet should employ people in other time zones to keep a handle on this nastiness.

Although they got to it pretty quick tonight.

gilchrist168 · 20/10/2018 02:20

Safe hug all, good on you.
Nasty stuff, worst I've seen here also.
Have a little breather if you can.Gin

HelloSnow · 20/10/2018 02:21

I hope it was fake. I hope that little girl doesn't exist. Even though I know many like her do 😢 I'm going to get a cup of tea now x

Hello everyone - thanks for the reports and to our lovely nightwatchers for hiding the thread. We really didn't feel it was in anyone's interests to leave it to stand, and the OP deregged soon after it was posted anyway. We're sorry so many of you were upset by it. Flowers

RubyPreciousJewel · 20/10/2018 11:04

Thank you Becky. Very convenient that they de-regged Hmm

gilchrist168 · 20/10/2018 13:04

Thanks Becky for the info and update.
Agree withRuby very convenient indeed re de regging. "She" even tried to get into an argument with a few of us. Sicko.
Take care of yourselves all. Flowers

Fifithefoof · 20/10/2018 15:32

That's the worst thing I've ever seen on Mumsnet. I felt like I was going to throw up.
