Ok now I feel dreadful as the op’s thread has been deleted - if that’s the only option I’m not sure it’s the best one, thought you would just delete the nasty posts.

the NightWatch has a remit to delete post and threads when it is blatant, obvious trolling, or nasty posts (like in this case), or spam that threatens to take over the boards.

We do NOT have the power to ban posters, and also have to be fairly careful not to overstep our powers. We can't delete JUST because something is reported (either as an alert or on The NightWatch board).

In this case, it was pretty nasty comments so I decided to delete.

PLEASE don't troll hunt though - click on the report button, or post in the NightWatch topic.

That drives me nuts. Since we didn't get an email about it another NW must have seen it on here therefore seen you were dealing with it. I've had that happen before been saying why a thread doesn't fall into our remit and bang someone else deleted it. It's so annoying
