But I most definitely didn't say anything out of order, or threaten anybody, or say anything rude or threatening. I hope MNHQ can corroborate that for me, as the thread seems to have disappeared.

If one reads the post carefully, I'm saying it's not a perfect world, and we all need to take care of ourselves. Men and women both.
I can't remember verbatim, but it was not written with malice.

I thought I was accused of sending nasty rape threats.

I also wrote, about 5 posts, in that I was glad to read that she was home safe. Which I was. The OP had me slightly worried for her safety. I think maybe my points have been misunderstood.

All I did was start a thread, in Feminism Chat, noting that a minor incident on my way home in a completely familiar area which is very safe made me consider male violence. I expected maybe a couple of replies at that time and maybe a couple more today, from people I chat with on that board. I know anyone can post anywhere here but what followed was a little upsetting and I would rather I had never posted it.

In fact not even an "incident" just someone asking directions.
