Ive locked my two in because that's the advice at Halloween. The old cat is asleep but my young black cat is bouncing off the walls furious she cant go out.
Anyone else?

I get them in early for fireworks, but not Halloween. However if it's dark outside and they are indoors, they don't get let out again whatever the time of year (to protect the wildlife from them, and them from cars etc).

Not owned a cat for more than 30 years but sending you strength. Even if she claws the wallpaper off the walls, keep her in . She will just to be angry with you tonight but safe.

Not only do we have trick or treaters , fireworks are also being let off down our road.

I assume this is younger cat’s first Halloween/bonfire season

Mine come in at 5 for dinner and I don’t let them back out again. Always in after dark. They get used to it.

Same as above. Mine always get locked in after their dinner as per CP advice. Too many get run over once it gets dark.

Lots of fireworks too today so sensible to keep them in … our town is having its main display and combined Halloween event tonight.

Not sure I can suggest anything to help but you are doing the right thing to keep your cats safe.

No she's 5 but she's always loved the outdoors. The other one never even tries to go out. We live in a village in the country.
