We have two cats who are age 3 a bonded pair. We are considering getting another cat possibly two from the charity we got the boys from, not decided on ages yet possibly getting older cats.
How many cats do you have? I’m just wondering should we go for it?

Hi. As per my username.... i have 6.

We have an older boy of 14yrs who moved in with us about 8 yrs ago (when we had 3 others who have now sadly passed away), a brother and sister of 4.5yrs, a little tabby moggie who is 3, and our two 11 month old bonded sisters who are our first pedigree cats - Norwegian Forest. Love them all and they have mixed well.

Five.
two are 16 and brother and sister.
three are all sisters and six years old.
spoilt as hell and all seem to take it in turns to watch whatever I’m up to. Probably making sure it’s age appropriate.
or food. Mostly food.

Four is a good number - we top up with a pair of kittens when we lose the oldest pair.
Currently have two 15yo siblings and two 8yo siblings.

It also depends on how big your bathroom is! I sometimes have up to 5 at a time when I go to the loo...
