We need one of these to use with our cat . A towel doesn't cut it to give medicine. I see loads on Amazon but are they tough enough? Ie so no claws coming through ? Any recommendations ?

Liquid or tablets.
Im only asking as there has been another thread where someone lost a part of their finger giving a cat medicine and they used a wrap.
If liquid I would squirt into mouth when they are stationary.Would need like the cal pol syringe. If tablets, crush tablets between two teaspoons and mix in food.

I had great success mixing meds into car yogurt. If it's a pill I crush it in and mix it, if a liquid just mix.

Just double check with the vet it's ok to crush the pills first, some have to stay whole.

One of my boys was very disappointed when his abscess healed and he stopped getting 3 lickylix a day - he even tried faking a limp to get them back.

We moved to liquid as he started to detect the Panacur in the lick e lix .

My cat is another licky lyx fan and I can finally get medication into her. If not, a thick towel works to wrap a cat in. Awful about the finger amputation.
