Angus’s Ongoing Unrequited Love

I haven’t posted for a while but wanted to share a photo I just took. I’ve often posted about Angus being desperately in love with Little Cat. She’s having none of it and continues to thwart all Angus’s attempts at a loving relationship 😂

Tonight Little Cat was under our coffee table on her blanket and had fallen into a deep sleep and her head fell off her blanket. Angus saw his opportunity and immediately went and lay next to her so their heads were virtually touching. He’s in heaven but I fear for his life when she wakes up!

Aw. I've never heard of Angus and Little Cat but it sounds very entertaining.

Poor old Angus.

@TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne It’s been going on for years and she has both my big ginger boys terrified (although Angus also has a huge crush on her). I posted this photo years ago of my ginger boys pleading with me to move Little Cat from the top of the stairs so they could go on our bed.

Your cats are magnificent: what is the other ginger boy called? Are they brothers?

Sadly I doubt she will ever change although she has mellowed a little. Little Cat has been with us for about 7 years now and she’s 17.5. Angus obviously likes a more mature woman as he’s “only” 14.

Yes the gingers are brothers, both from our local rescue. The other one is called Archie. He’s the big boy out of the two of them.

I remember that photo, so funny. Well, maybe not funny for the ginger pair.

Please let us know if Angus survives "the awakening".

He did survive but she belted him on the ear when she woke up and realised they were almost touching. She’s such a minx!
