Same. I have 5 semi ferals and one ex stray.
I knew it was coming, so I set up the outside area for them on Tuesday. Our large back covered and lovely tiled terrace.
Seedling heat mat laid over two front to front wooden garden chairs, wrapped in one of their blankets.
Side table moved for their drop dry food feeder so that it is off the ground or the slugs go mad for it.
Other wooden dining table moved, another blanket and a cushion on top.
Their favourite summer chairs moved so that they are all facing inwards in a cosy front room set up.
They already have a cushion covered sofa which I made from an old pallet. And another sofa with 3 cushions and two other wooden chairs which are tucked under the big wooden table as one loves sleeping on one of them.
So 7 other seating options, plus a large table and cushion arrangement but no, they all just want the heat mat. There was a stand off this morning with the ex stray guv sat on one arm of the heat mat ensemble waiting for one of his underlings to move off. The looks I was getting until I went out and one darted onto the big table and pretended to be 'just sniffing' whilst his highness took his rigthful position.
i think I'm going to have to dig out my second heat mat when it gets colder and just give up and put it on the wooden table.
