Recommendations for a secure lightweight soft-sided cat carrier

My much- used hard plastic cat carrier is getting past its best and is quite heavy to carry. Has anyone found a bag type carrier which is secure and doesn't unsettle their cat e.g by having too - soft sides?

I’ve got a Tavo Dupree. It has Isofix so fits into the car. Penelope wasn’t keen on her hard carrier, but lined the Tavo. It was pricey but I got it half price on eBay. I only used it for motorway trips.

Thanks. I'll have a look.

If it is just the weight you're concerned about, you could try this type. I always use these because they are light and secure, and also top-loading so you can get the cat in easily. I put some vet bed inside, then cover it with a small blanket so they feel 'safe'.

I use this type too, nothing else is as secure.

Thanks for this suggestion. My cat has a habit of rubbing her nose along the bars, often causing a slight nosebleed, so I'm erring on the side of a bag type carrier.
