She stays indoors by choice and has only ever ventured onto the patio a few times since I got her nearly a year ago when she was 4 months old. She's quite a skittish cat and does like time alone in corners, but nonetheless does normally come in the sitting room in the evenings and does sit on my lap. She was on my lap for quite a while this afternoon and then ds fed her somewhere between 5 and 6.
Around half an hour ago we realised we'd not seen her since and looked for her and she is nowhere. We've been all over the house (it is fairly big over 3 floors, some of it quite messy - 2 x ds) and she is nowhere to be seen. We do have a cat-flap (2 other cats) but she has gone through it around twice in her life and always come pretty much straight back in, nonetheless we have looked in the garden. It's like she's disappeared off the face of the earth.
We have obviously gone a few hours without seeing her before but we have never looked for her so thoroughly and been calling her to get nothing. Maybe we have freaked her out and she's hidden better? but I'm worried she has randomly decided to go out and will now be lost.
Any ideas?
