Odd Eye

Marmite’s right eye is looking strange. The outside “rim” seems to have lost some fur and there’s a little lump. It is not weepy or inflamed. She is behaving normally and eating as usual. We phoned the vet who was not too concerned and told us to make an appointment next week (we are away this weekend). Has anyone seen this before or got any ideas what it might be? Photo attached.

I'd say that does look inflamed. There's no fur because that part is the eyelid.

Thanks for the reply. I’ll make an appointment and take her early next week. I didn’t want to worry all weekend. My sister is coming to stay to look after the cats so she will check up on it. Thanks, she is gorgeous
