Tell me what your kittens are doing so I’m not in this madness alone.

She’s 13 weeks today, we’ve had her for 2 weeks, she’s completely bonkers. Zoomies that make me feel tired just watching her, coming for a cuddle then biting my hand instead. Trying to be my scarf, we’ve started letting her into the garden as it’s cat proofed. She’s found my trees and started scaling them digging in the pots, jumping into the nepeta sending the bees up. We’ve taken down the curtains in the lounge as she got stuck on the curtain pole.

Despite all of her madness it’s lovely to watch her firsts, the way she sits and sniffs the air, standing on grass for the first time, discovering the cat fountain and lots of other things.

Im hoping that when she and our older cat finally meet they get along and he can teach her a more zen attitude!

Mine were born nearly 3 years ago, and left on our terrace by their mum. They still are bonkers and go crazy for the catmint. And climb trees. And terrorise each other. And terrorise all the other cats. And get the zoomies after teatime.

How can we possibly comment without a picture OP?!

Mine just destroyed stuff as he got older, but, approaching 12 months, he’s starting to calm down. A bit. Ever so slightly. He’s destroyed my Christmas tree and my living room blinds over the summer, so it’s seasonal destructiveness.

She’s had a long sleep today, she’s woken up and for now the 12 espresso’s seem to have worn off and she just wants to be on me. She’s become more cuddly over the last few days. I’d prefer it if her smelly bum wasn’t always pointing towards my face though.

Oh come on, although she looks like a criminal, she’s clearly innocent of every crime.

when one of mine was a kitten and I had a bath he would climb in with me and lay on my chest (completely out of the water) but he was massive still so it was not relaxing at all.

he also played fetch with springs, and would chase my husband back and forth through the house.

You couldn’t bend down for anything or he would jump on your back, and he also liked climbing into hoods and laying in them (his weight would strangle you)

cat tax included
