I can’t believe my little familiar, my poppet who we rescued 14 years ago has had to leave us. I feel heartbroken, we said goodbye on her favourite heated blanket, quietly with love. I hope this grief won’t last forever I feel wretched.

Her brother slept next to me last night where she would have been. He’s never done that. He seems so lost today, he’s getting extra love and we’re just sitting with him so he has company. Will he be ok? How long before we decide if he needs a companion? He’s 15 I don’t want him to be stressed in any way. This is all so difficult. I keep looking at where she’d be lying with us and she’s not there I haven’t moved her blanket I can’t. I miss her so much.
