Hello cat servants. One of my pair has been quite poorly over the last week with what has been diagnosed as an inflamed gall bladder. She’s on various meds for this and is finally starting to eat a little more after an extended period where she wasn’t touching any food at all. I’ve been back at the vets today as noted she hadn’t been poo-ing since her appetite improved and have been told she is constipated and prescribed lactulose. She hadn’t her first dose at the vets this morning and went in the litter tray where she did a poo (yay!) about 10 mins later (I suspect that’s not emptied everything tbf). However just after using the tray, she was sick. Have others had this with lactulose?
Not sure if she’s not tolerating it well (she hates the taste) or whether it’s something else: she’d been asymptomatic with the constipation
