Cat suddenly withdrawn

My cat has been withdrawn for past few days. Wanting to be upstairs rather than downstairs with me and in her little soft house.

She’s also nervous about going outside, think there’s a fox in the garden she can smell.

Could she be depressed? She’s eating and sleeping well.

When my cat did this it turned out to be a sore tooth, well 3 actually!. She was still eating but just heading straight back upstairs and stopped seeking attention.
I would get a vet check as cats are generally very good at hiding pain so this sort of behaviour usually means something is up. Not likely depressed.

It’s another male cat tormenting her. Have seen him. She’s hiding from him. Wise animal.
