Curled/Bent Whiskers?

Is this normal? My ragdoll Susie, she recently turned 1. I’ve noticed her curled and bent whiskers? I’ve googled and got worrying results of all different things it could mean. Like health issues (even though she was in good health at her health check not too long ago) it also said stress? Any ideas? She doesn’t eat from small bowls.

Sorry for poor quality photo, it’s dark and she just woke up and I have wanted to get this posted

Susie is a beauty! I really don't think this is anything to worry about. But I don't know how to reassure you. It looks more like she's been sleeping on a skewed whisker, and I expect it'll return to 'normal' quite soon.

I agree with @RogueFemale . We had a Ragdoll cat too and she was the deepest sleeper of any cat we've ever owned! So I think this is the cat version of Bed Head.

Susie is so beautiful! I’ve had cats for 50 years and I’ve always assumed that a bent whisker was temporary from them sleeping on it. I really wouldn’t worry but you can always check with her vet.

She has beautiful markings; gorgeous girl and her whiskers are very long! I'm sure it's nothing if she's just been given a clean bill of health.

@RogueFemale@CarrieMoonbeams@Overtheatlantic@MargotLovesTomThank you so much for your sweet replies. I think googling it and seeing the “illness” and “stress” answers made me anxious and think the worst. My BSH passed away last April, he was my baby, helped me through a lot with his comfort and simple presence, so every small thing that doesn’t seem right with Susie or Chester scares me, as silly as that sounds. Thank you again for your reassurance. Here is another photo of the sweetheart and her little brother to say thanks!

Don't ever feel silly about worrying @imay8 , we're all the same I'm sure, and there's always someone around to give a bit of reassurance.

She's absolutely gorgeous, as is her wee brother 😻 😻

Definitely bed head. My cats often get crumpled whiskers after a good kip. I find it very cute!
