Mat for wet paws?

Does anyone have a miracle door mat that can absorb most of the moisture from wet paws? I know the rain has eased off recently, but I've been getting a bit tired of my boy's muddy paw prints trailing all around the kitchen.
I want a mat to go in front of the cat flap to absorb as much moisture as possible!
Is there anything that works out there?
TIA

Following! I’ve one cat with big furry paws that contain half a garden and another with more delicate ones but still muddy and wet.

I use cardboard boxes in front of the cat flap. Change on a regular basis.

doesn’t solve the problem but reduces it.

Yes, has a synthetic pile with a rubber back and you buy them from garden centres. Mine says "wipe your paws".

Quite pricey and I"m sorry but I can't recall the name/brand. I clean it with a soft brush and aeriel. They do not wash well. About £38/£40.

Carpet samples some Carpet shops sell them cheap my cats have them under the litter tray (rubber backed just in case they go over the top) and at the exit in case of wet paws i happily bleach clean it because I can replace it cheaply if it gets too bad

They were two for five pounds

There are some brilliant ones in Matalan called Muddle mats. They come in various sizes. They absorb everything, and up to three times their own weight in water. They are rubber backed and you can wash them in the washing machine. They dry very quickly. I had one at the bedside at one time and spilt a full glass of wine on it. Threw it in the washer. Like new. They also start at about £12.50

Edited

😂 You wiped your feet on a doormat before getting into bed?! And were drinking red wine in bed - Decadent!
But thanks, I'll definitely look into those mats.
