I'm sitting here in a small old rural graveyard with our much loved cat who's being PTS later today. She was rescued from here with her litter of kittens almost 11 years ago and I always meant to visit to see where she'd been found. It's beautiful, so peaceful and full of trees/birds.
Being an adult black cat she was in the rescue centre for a long time before she chose us. More specifically my children who she climbed all over that day in an attempt to win our hearts.
That she did. She's very vocal and always greeted us when we'd come into a room where she was. I'm going to miss our morning cuddles, when the first person up had to sit down and let her up on their lap for a kiss and a lick of butter off our toast.
Ebony, you'll always hold a very special place in our hearts and will be remembered forever. Thank you for sharing your life with us.
