Cat poo help!

My cat is not pooing in her litter tray anymore. She will wee in there, but won’t poo. Her litter type hasn’t changed, we always clean the poo out immediately (and always have) and change the whole thing once a week so it’s not a cleanliness issue. We have 4 trays for two cats and they have always used two each (e.g. she uses two and our other cat uses the other two - they don’t share). She goes in different places each time, there’s been no household changes and no stress for her. This has been for the last 3 or so weeks. Any suggestions?

Vet. This sounds like she is unwell. When my cat did this she had a parasite and needed antibiotics. I would get her checked out. Cats are always so fastidious so when behaviour changes they are usually telling us something is up. Hope you can solve the problem x

@Kyogo67I took her - nothing wrong as far as they can see but they have done a blood test. Got back and she immediately went in the litter tray, of course 😂 Will await results!

I clean out my litter trays every other day and use the scented freshen up powder in between, one of my cats is particularly clean and will not go in the tray if it is too smelly. You said once a week you change it? I think once a week is quite a long time. She may not feel clean enough to poo in it. Just from personal experience
