I was wondering if you could recommend any budget cat litter, preferably odour controlling? I currently use catsan so perhaps something similar?

Honestly, with over 16 years of cat ownership and numerous litters tried, the best we’ve found up to now is recycled paper litter. We get it in Tesco’s.

We’ve tried clumping, non clumping, clay, wood pellets, the white crystal ones, nothing is as good as the paper. I’m never going back to any of the others.

I use corn litter from Amazon. No idea how cost effective it is but it works well.

Pets at Home clumping wood granules - it’s usually about £25 for 30l but is currently on sale online. 30l last a long time (one cat), but it does track a bit.

Same here. A big 30 litre bag lasts about six weeks (three cats).

I buy catsan from Amazon - it’s usually on offer for around £11-12 which is much cheaper than in the shops. I’ve tried budget brands but find they’re just not as good.

We do this too.
