Velcro cat

Who else has a velcro cat? My 16 year old Isis never leaves my side night and day.
She is permanently glued to me, its difficult to get anything done. But I adore her 😘

Yep me, my 14 year old female. She had been watching cats on YouTube but is now asleep!

Not mine but my DBro had a Proper Velcro cat , interestingly like your phots above , the cat was a black&white

Mine are Teflon Cats . To the extent when the Male hears my key in the door or my footsteps on the stairs he buggers off under the sofa or out the cat door . <sigh>
Female just ignores me !

My boy is currently a Velcro cat. But he is utterly shamelessly self-centred - I'll be dumped on the first day of hot weather for a seat in the sun.

He only loves me in winter.

Mine too. It's lovely though I am always feeling guilty for chucking her off my lap so I can eat/drink/go to the toilet/do chores etc. She disapproves of these activities.

I just accept I am the Persona Non Grata to the felines .
MaleCat adores DD and FemaleCat will help DH when he WFH .
They sleep on our bed .
They sit on a chair next to me .
But no contact .

Though MaleCat kept biting my foot the other day , I;m taking that as a win ! (Just toothy kisses not bites proper )

We have more than one velcro cat. It's impossible to sit down without acquiring one (or more).
Current position - incapussitated.

I am the designated lap for one of our cats (Lulu) In order to get up when catted I have to make a number of announcements (very much like trying to get a toddler out of the house!) For example, Mummy needs to go in the kitchen in a minute Lulu, Mummy has to get up soon.., If I don't go through the routine I get hissed at/ bitten/ scratched. If I DO go through the routine I sometimes get allowed to move (HRH vacates my lap without complaint) but I often still get a disgruntled hiss for daring to disturb her...!

I had to get up and transfer grey velcro cat eleswhere. Within 30 seconds of returning to my seat...

The late Cheddar was one! I couldn’t do anything without her climbing on me. I really miss her. Penelope is learning to be a Velcro cat!

Rosie is the velcro-ist cat EVER. When I try to un-velcro her she just clings on even more 😖 Doesn't matter if it's 35 bloody degrees, she still wants a cuddle 🫠

It's great during the chilly winter evenings until I get a hot flush and then she gets ejected in 20 seconds 🥵😂

Yes! I have one! Which is lovely, and a surprise because our darling departed boy was with us for 17 years and cuddled about 3 times in his life, he was not a people cat!

Do your velcro cats attach themselves to visitors? When I have guests, Rosie eyes them up and launches herself within .25 seconds 🫣

I have the velcroest tortie kitty! She’s on me right now, and would be on me 24/7 (with only breaks for eating) if she could. She sleeps next to me all night and wants to sit on me all day — it’s bloody hard to get any work done (or get up to do anything).

She especially gets very annoyed if I have my laptop out, and pushes it off my knee with great annoyance 😆

You cant see it in the photo but she's a tabby. She has a couple of brown patches.
