Cat litter boxes. Where do you put them.

I have 3 cats adopted in the last year. They have become accustomed to their indoor litter boxes but this was never the plan. Currently have 1 in the bathroom and 1 in the hallway outside the bathroom. I had a third for a while but there was no space left. Currently trying to figure out where to put them as it's awkward for guests. I live in a ground floor 2 bed flat. It is a long hallway and I have very little other rooms to put them in.
Any ideas please, or do I take the decision to make them go outside?

I have a loo downstairs with the boiler mounted in the wall. So I enclosed the boiler in a floor to ceiling cupboard with four doors and the bottom doors cut out a square and put the covered litter box behind that. So the cats can go through the square and into the the box. As it’s covered they can’t kick the litter around and it helps with the smell.
That was when they were kittens. They go outside now so no need for box.

One in the lounge under the coffee table, one on the half landing on the stairs and one on the actual landing.

There is no room in the bathroom, ensuite, downstairs toilet or the kitchen. I obviously don't want any in the bedrooms so they will have to do where they are. No idea how we will fit an extra in if we need it in the future but for now 3 trays is adequate for a cat with full outdoor access.

In the bathroom as there's nowhere else for it to go. We had it in the living room when we first got Charlie but I couldn't stand it there!

I saw this idea to repurpose an IKEA Hol storage unit to become a cat bathroom. You don't install the bottom and cut a whole at one end as the door.

It takes up a bit of space but is a brilliant way to have a litter box in an open area without the loss of visual amenity!

I have also considered repurposing a small cupboard under the stairs, although so far, the cats are happy with sharing one (big) litter tray.

In the utility room, though he rarely uses it

One in my log cabin for my “outdoor” cat (she sleeps in there overnight).

Ihave two spare bedrooms, have a covered tray in each of them. Very rare that anyone stays over, so no issue there. And another in my conservatory. Those three are for my two indoor cats.
