So I thought I'd update on last week's thread. We got 2 new kittens a week ago today. We were told they are 9 weeks old. Took them to the vet this week who said they are more like 8 weeks, so 9 now. They are healthy with no issues and are booked in for vaccines and microchipping this week. We have kept them in the kitchen, which is completely safe. Have let them wander into the sitting room which they love but there is a wood burning stove there so only with supervision and we have a guard around it. They are eating drinking and using the litter with no problems.
One is still hissing at us. We haven't really been able to touch or hold them yet, we are taking it very slowly. We sit on the floor with a dangly toy and they play on our laps without fear. One allows a scratch/ pet. The other will let dh pet her occasionally but still hisses sometimes. They come to us for treats. They play a lot together, we play with them too. They sit quietly a lot.
So, how are we doing? And anything we should or should not be doing?
