Microchip cat flap problems. Recommendations please!

I have a Petsafe microchip catflap. It works for one cat but not the other. Paired up fine but she literally has to stand there for about a minute for it to open, so she gives in.
going out she’s fine, but it was getting back in.
in the summer I’d find her in the garden in the morning so I knew she couldn’t get in.
it’s currently taped so it swings freely and the neighbours cat comes in at every opportunity!

Does anyone have any recommendations of a good make which is quite sensitive please?

We have sureflap - it’s excellent. I’d thoroughly recommend it.

Oh that’s good to hear, I was looking at Sureflap. Thank you.
I think I went for the cheapest- buy cheap buy twice!

We have a Sureflap too. We've had them in two different houses for the past 12 years and they have never failed us. Customer service is very helpful too.

I have sureflap and they sell microchip tags if your cat's tag has migrated further back. My cat's chip is very far down the neck and it needs her to push quite far in to open it. But she won't, so I got her a tag and put that on her collar.

This is why it surprised me to find my cats micro chip hadn’t migrated, I asked the vet to check and it’s really quite high up.
i think Sureflap might be the way forward. Thanks.
