We don’t have cat flaps so generally Cat1 has a strict curfew of 7pm 😂

Loosely meaning that when he’s back from his post meal wander before then we don’t let him back out.

Well I was taking the bins out this evening and like an idiot forgot to lock him in the living room so the little asshole jumped right out as soon as I opened the front door.

He’s still not back. I want to go to bed but it’s going to hit -6 at some point in the night so I have to stay up now.

What a prick. I love him really but no dreamies for him tomorrow.

Oh no! Hope he comes home soon, surely he will as it’s so cold???

@Dizzywizzyou’d like to think! I’m suffering just opening the patio doors to call his name let alone want to be out there!

I used to shake some dreamies but god knows how far he is to even hear it!

I have gone to bed, turned the lights out and read for a bit or watched tv in bed, and then come back and errant cat has been there waiting to come in.
I’ve also had to set the alarm for 1am or 2am and come down and they’ve been glad to come in by then. This tends to be on summer nights though. They’re not keen on bitterly cold, snowy nights.

@Papergirl1968 i think that’s what I’ll have to resort to doing!! I’m freezing my tits off downstairs waiting!

My dickhead cat does this too.

One night I gave up at around 1am and brought my quilt down to set up camp in the living room. I had just finished making my sofa bed up, got comfy and guess who strolled back in?!

Hope the little arse is back soon. My husband once stayed up most up most of the night because our very large ginger Tom was not back - he strolled out from under our bed.....

True. He starts off as a good boy under the duvet like a hot water bottle and then I wake up to him sitting on my pillow attached to my hair. Dp has a shaved head and gets off scott free. Not fair.

@murasaki my DP just boots him off the bed and he ends up directing all his attention to me. He’s also a long fat cat so it’s more like purring suffocation at this point.
