Got my fur babies home 😸

Just got home with my gorgeous 2 rescue kittens. We are their 6th home in 6mths. They are petrified and hiding under the tv unit in the room I have set up for them, bless their cottons. So no pictures to show right now.
Will leave them be to come out in their own time, this is their forever home so they have all the time in the world. So happy 😺

Agree! how lovely that after such a disruptive start in life, they can finally (and eventually) relax and show their true personalities 😻😻

My Iany was 10 when he came home and he didn’t come out the box for 24 hours. He spent the next 24 hours in the litter tray, including for sleeping. We then spent lots of time just sat in the room talking but ignoring him, but with a bag of treats. Then we started throwing him the treats. Eventually he came and climbed into DH’s lap and has been a right little love bug ever since!

Ah poor things, my cat spent a lot of her first week behind the sofa but she it the most loving cuddly cat now

How lovely. One of mine hid for a week when I got her. Why so many homes? That’s so sad.

They have ventured out today, eaten and used the litter tray, they are busy exploring their new surroundings. They were born to a stray and taken in by someone but her cats didn’t like them, so they were taken to cats protection and were in the cattery there, then they got adopted but unfortunately the gent became ill and couldn’t look after them so they went back to the cat protection cattery, then they went to a foster home and now to us.
Unfortunately I’m stuck at work today, so hubby and son get the joys, can’t wait to get home 😻

We have one of each Merlin is the full black and saffron is the black/white. They came with these names and have decided to keep them as they have had so many changes to deal with already. X
