Greedy cat

We have 2 cats, sisters, one is much greedier than the other and is getting a but chubby. We have 2 bowls of biscuits down so they dont have to share, but the greedy cat will just eat out of both, essentially having double portions. Any tips on how we get around this?

You can get microchip bowls which only open for whichever cat. Might stop the issue of it getting their fist but obviously will still hoover up the left overs

Feeding them separately is the only way I’ve found. Some cats just have a greed mechanism and some don’t.

We don’t have biscuits down and supervise feeding time.

Our cats are both quite insecure about food because they came to us after being dumped and living outside for a few months. One of them is also very lazy so he’s quite chunky, left to his own devices he’ll shove his brother out of the way and eats his dinner after his own!
