Is a deaf kitten a good idea?

A litter was found (possibly dumped, as very good condition) at my work this week. One of the kittens is a little white girl, most likely deaf. She would be available to adopt next week once she’s been spayed and had her vaccinations/treatments.

I have two kids, 3 & 5. We have been missing a cat since our last one a couple of years ago. I’m just not sure if a home with two young kids will be ok for a deaf cat, if she’ll get spooked all the time by them? In saying that they aren’t the lightest of foot so she’d most likely feel them galloping about before they get near her Hmm

Given she'd have to be an indoor cat it doesn't sound like she'd have much of a sanctuary if she needed it. Personally I don't think you are the right home for this particular cat.
