Persian cat and Bloody fleas !!

I seem to be fighting a losing battle with the buggers. I’ve tried all the main brands frontline etc fipronil. Spraying furniture vacuuming.

Any hints or tips. She is rather fluffy being a Persian so advise from other long haired feline owners will be greatfully received !

a lot pets are resistant to flea treatments. Perhaps a more natural one would work better?

No advice on the fleas as my Persians have never had them. But we need a picture OP. Have you tried vet prescribed treatments?

Your vet will know which flea treatments still work in your area and indorex for the house .

Just to agree with the others, Indorex your house once the fleas are dead on the cart. Frontline has not worked for years, so definitely ask the vet.

You're using the wrong treatments. Many no longer work.

You need a vet appointment as all those that work are prescription only. You then need to ask for any of the following:
Nexgard
Bravecto
Felpreva
Credelio

Nothing else now works. Don't be persuaded to take Stronghold, Advocate or Advantage. Only accept one of those in the list and that will be an end to your problem.

You need a prescription treatment from the vet who will also know what works locally.

Fleas have been immune to over the counter treatments for years.

You also need about 1 can of Indorex per room of your house.

Well guys Indorex has been ordered! Going to vets this morning with the list @thecatneuterer

I second credelio. My cats have been on this monthly (on pet club subscription) and it works very well. One tablet a month and it released something through their skin that fleas don’t latch on to. When cat already has fleas it takes about 8h for the fleas to die off. Good luck!

@TY78910 this is what the vet will be giving picking up prescription tomorrow!!!

I have 2 tabbies, on one the stuff you buy OTC works but on the other only Bravecto works (from the vet).

Persian cats are just so beautiful and loving!
