Help me name my cat, please!

Hi there. I'm really struggling with naming our new rescue cat. He is a little timid of strangers at the moment, but a total softy who would sit on my lap all day long given half the chance!

I've had a few ideas, but haven't been able to settle on anything! Basil is one I keep coming back to?
Our other cat is called Josephine (JoJo / Josie)

I agree with @TheSpottedZebra Basil is fabulous! When I had a dog (many years ago), I came down to 2 names for him - Benjie and Basil and we went with Benjie but I do still love Basil as a 'pet' name.

Hamish is another favourite of mine!
